Payal Kanwar will kick off India Business Month 2021 with an overview of doing business in India in the next 5 years for international companies. With the Indian budget scheduled to take place just a few days before, Payal will talk one-on-one with Maarten van der Schaaf of IndiaConnected to evaluate the forecast for foreign businesses.

Payal has close to 15 years of professional experience in India and France, working in cross-cultural roles, and leads a team of 30 people at Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) as its Director-General.

Established in 1977, the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry belongs to a worldwide network of 123 French Chambers (CCIFI) in 95 countries with over 37,000 companies. IFCCI represents a dynamic business platform of over 650 company members and a total network of more than 6,500 individual members. IFCCI holds two international awards for Best Performing Chamber and Best Contribution over two consecutive years in 2018 and 2019 respectively.
