Recently some of our India team visited #AHAAR, the International Food and Hospitality Fair which was organized in New Delhi. 

The event had a great turnout with participation from both #indian and Indian subsidiaries of #foreigncompanies, including those from #Brazil, #France, #Germany, #Italy, #Canada, the #UK, and the #USA. The event showcased a strong emphasis on plant-based agro foods, and many firms were exploring opportunities in the vegan food market.

Foreign companies attending had all previously had some successful #DoingBusinessInIndia and are now expanding their product offerings.

We talked with many foreign companies and realised while there is a lot of excitement about the market potential in #India, that they all face challenges in terms of #regulatory requirements, managing #supplychains or concerns regarding flexible #packaging.
