In the 2nd episode of M+V’s CXO PODCAST Series, Deepmala Datta is in a
conversation with Shashank Verma (Head of Supply Chain & Order Management,
M+V). The conversation focuses on collaboration and negotiating the terms of
businesses and reinvesting in tasks that have been neglected so far. Talking of
the issues with imports today and the expensive international freights, Mr.
Verma, suggested turning to the sea mode for transporting goods. Moving on to
demand forecasting, Mr. Verma is of the opinion that the companies that are
already in business should approach their customers directly for a better
demand forecast.
