The International Railway Equipment Exhibition (IREE)

 

The International Railway Equipment Exhibition (IREE), organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in collaboration with the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, is India's sole international event dedicated to railways and allied industries. The Indian Railways is a major participant in the IREE, demonstrating their skills and future needs. Around 20 countries send participants and guests to the IREE. Companies have set up displays to exhibit their wagons and new advanced seating. Many Indian subsidiaries and companies displayed their future railway and metro industry models and strategies. There was a replica of a railway museum with little railway stations, trains, tracks, and an Indian railway map, among other things. The Indian Railways is Asia's and the world's second-largest rail network under one management. Indian Railways has pledged to become a carbon-neutral company by 2030.
