India Day 2018: Part of the annual Cologne India Week

The India Day is part of the annual Cologne India Week (1st to 10th June 2018). The program includes lectures, workshops, films, concerts. On June 6, 2018, the next India Day will take place in Cologne's RheinEnergieSTADION from 9am to 6pm. The organizers are the India service provider Maier + Vidorno, the Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH and the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe

Investing successfully in India: Tips from Klaus Maier, Managing Director of the India-based service provider Maier + Vidorno

• Long term planning: Given the complexity of the market and the many new challenges, newcomers need time to find their way around and develop the right strategy.
• Customizing Products: India is a (sub-) continent with many different languages, cultures, and religions. If necessary, adapt your products to customer requirements.
• Observe price sensitivity: German manufacturers expect particularly high quality. But Indian customers are often unwilling to pay for it. The competition prices should, therefore, be known before entering the market.
• Finding the right partner: You need several partners in India who have expertise in their respective region and industry.
• Use own sales team: Only by own, Indian staff a relationship with the Indian customers can be established, which then makes the distribution over quality possible.

India Day 2019:

The 10th India Day will take place on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, in the Festive Flora in Cologne. The #entrepreneur forum offers both India newcomers and India expert updates, informative discussion boards, exclusive practical lectures and a unique exchange platform around the #IndianMarket.
